A Celebration of Artistic Spirit
Virgin Spirit is a celebration of artistic individuality, authenticity, and originality. This multimedia exhibition featured celebrity photographer Richard Corman’s never-before-seen images of Madonna at the dawn of her career and the verge of her stardom. GoodSouldiers, a group founded by Richard and myself, produced this one-of-a-kind art exhibition, fashion show, and musical event that presented these images publicly for the first time.
To pitch this concept of Virgin Spirit we ditched the PowerPoint and created a set of limited-edition double albums – complete with actual vinyl picture discs and sleeve art, which were hand-delivered to Madonna’s management team and record label. Blown away by the concept, the design, and Richard Corman’s images, we secured their blessing and the rest is herstory.
